Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)

Children's Aid Home Programs

Somerset, 15501

Programs are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Summer programming is also available.

~ Clients must meet Medical Necessary Criteria in order to be accepted into the program.
~ Clients must be or have been evaluated by a licensed Psychiatrist prior to entering the program
~ Clients must have a mental health diagnosis
~ Clients must have the MA card or be MA eligible in order to be referred. (A few exceptions may be considered)
~ Clients must be ages 12 -18

Length of stay varies per client. Progress or lack thereof are determinants of how long the client may or may not remain in the program.

Treatment team approach
~ Client is expected to be an active participant in treatment
~ Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to be active in their children's treatment
~ Service providers are invited to attend monthly treatment plan meetings and provide regular input into the client's reatment
~ Natural supports are encouraged to provide support to the client throughout the stay in the program

~ Psychological consultations
~ Group therapy
~ Psychoeducational classes
~ Individual therapy
~ Family relation building sessions
~ Medication Monitoring
~ Weekly Drug and Alcohol Education

**The Children's Aid Home provides certified teachers who provide academic instruction to all of the clients. The clients receive full credit for their participation in both the academic and therapy classes/groups.

~ Individualized, strength-based plans developed weekly contact between therapist and family
~ Family counseling offered
~ All stakeholders involved
~ Treatment plan meetings every 20 days
